Bagasse is the natural fiber left after sugarcane is processed to produce sugar. These fibers are both strong & durable, but are 100% plant-based therefore compostable and biodegradable and beneficial to Mother Earth.
Bagasse or sugarcane is fully compostable and breaks down best in commercial compost facilities. In commercial composting conditions, bagasse will compost in approximately 45-60 days.
